"The Lost Hammer" was a large colonial "unpatented certificate" land grant in what is now Aspen Hill, Maryland. The date of the survey is November 2, 1752, for one Nicholas Baker by Isaac Brooke.

The Lost Hammer to the west of the Bradford's Rest tract.

It appears to be almost entirely contained in the southern part of the Millys Dislike tract, with a long pointed triangular section extending south beyond the southern bound (41st line) of Millys Dislike.

In the modern day, a marker stone at (unconfirmed) approximately the southern tip may be found just west of the terminus of Oriental Street in Rock Creek Park.
