History
The development history of the Brookhaven subdivision is a bit odd.
It is best characterized as "infill development" even though it occurred almost contemporaneously with ongoing development activities elsewhere in Aspen Hill.
It is best to characterize is as being in two sections, one of which is located in the elder tract of Hermitage, and one of which is located in elder tract of Bradford's Rest.
Some parts of "Brookhaven" are outside of the bounds of Aspen Hill proper.
