John Bradford was a colonial officer and wealthy gentleman who "patented" several quite large tracts of land, including much of Aspen Hill, Maryland.

Notability
Resident of Calvert and Prince Georges County Maryland and holder of several large tracts including Bradford's Rest in Aspen Hill. Bradford died June 23, 1726. His wife Joyce, and his son John were named as executors in his will.
