Something Wrong Here

There is something really wrong with this place. Perhaps it's just that it's in the Aspen Manor Shopping Center, which is widely regarded as probably the most "ghetto" shopping center in all of Montgomery County.

At one point in time, management was fairly competent and treated all customers equally. The parts clerks were generally capable and knowledgeable.

In recent months, however, the place has become a nightmare to visit.

Most of the customers seem to be American-hating foreign racists who are determined to make it "their" store. As an American, clearly I disagree with such a goal. Yet it becomes increasingly difficult to shop there as you cannot get in or out of the store without being menaced by thug types "breaking bad", and if you have the bad luck to have to stand in line, be prepared to suffer. Their favorite trick seems to be that while the cashier counts out your change in a very slow and stylized manner, someone will get behind you and at the moment you reach for your change, stick something sharp and nasty in your neck or scalp in the back of your head. This well-timed exercise seems very well-rehearsed.

Generally, if you have the opportunity to shop for your auto parts somewhere else, you're probably better off doing that.

I chalk this up as yet-another symptom of Aspen Hill's general crime problem.
