Just north of the 7-11 located at 14101 Georgia Avenue, is a small wooded property owned by PEPCO.

It's full of trash. And this is a "web page of Shame".

Update! As of 2005 April 27, PEPCO has sent in a maintenance crew, and they cleared out immense amounts of trash. Furthermore, they cleared out most of the brush. Take a look by clicking here! ]

Below, here's a view of the path which leads from the Ridgewood Apartments down past one side of the wooded area...

Below, here's where the path cuts through the corner of this wooded area, to avoid the fencing between the 7-11 and the K-Mart properties, and continues on towards the parking lot of the 7-11.

Below, a view back at that place where people cut through the corner of that wooded area to get past the fence. Note that this woman walking towards the "gate" should perhaps be rather wary. She can see this man coming towards her. But if it were dark? She'd have to go through the corner of the scary trash-filled woods. Who knows how many men could be back in there? Since possibly most of the trash back in the woods is alcoholic-beverage containers, one has to wonder if she might have to walk close to a trash-filled woods that's full of drunken men. Bad things could happen.
