Learn about an exciting opportunity to involve young people in community development of the Wheaton Central Business District and Hewitt Avenue/Bel Pre Corridor.

• Young people become the experts by canvassing the community for places to go and things to do.

• They are paid for their work as mappers and field supervisors.

Training and a survey tool make it easy to gather information on the many traditional and non-traditional services for children, youth, and families. Once resources are identified, they are entered into a database and made available in user friendly ways.

Who Should Attend This Orientation: Community members, youth, civic associations, Mid-County Neighborhood Initiative members, schools, faith-based organizations, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.
